How many times have you woken can not move my neck? What we are doing while we sleep that makes us feel as if we slept pushed against a rock or head backwards?

Although occasionally headstand adventures happen while we sleep, "blocked neck" or "stiff neck" is usually the result of a bad pillow or a previous injury.

Here are some tricks you can use to loosen the stiff neck and get on with your day as much as possible:

1) First, it is important to consider the huge role that the application of heat in the relaxation of muscles. Between the use of ice packs to relieve pain and reduce inflammation, the use of heat to bring fresh healing blood to the area and make your pain quickly dissipates. (This is a good opportunity to re-freeze the bag of peas too - unless this happens a lot in which case it is likely to be fully stocked with frozen peas, sweet corn and, dare I say, frozen carrots!)

2) If you have been subjected to cold or wet environment before his neck injury, you may want to try drinking cinnamon and turmeric in hot water to release muscle contraction and reduce inflammation.

3) St. John's wort, valerian root or verbena tea can be used to reduce pain. Herbs cooked then be prepared as a hot compress and used in muscle (or just wrap the wet grass on a old pillow case and press into the muscle). In a pinch, try using chamomile tea bags.

4) Try to apply fresh horseradish or mustard oil to relieve muscle stiffness, but only leave for a few minutes at a time to prevent numbness and burning.

5) Arnica as a homeopathic remedy or cream can really help heal the area quickly. Keep something stored in your first aid kit, as it is good for all kinds of aches and pains!

6) Mix until celery and drink the juice helps to repair the damage (this is surprisingly large for relieving stress and premenstrual irritability too).

7) Finally, do not forget to use the shower or bath with some essential oils such as rosemary, juniper, lavender, pine or nutmeg!

Muscles love to be hot, and do not like to be held stationary. Still trying to move your neck, take deep breaths, and the use of heating pads, hot packs and hot as much as possible!
